This article describes the scope, methods and use of data collected by AdDuplex from the visitors to AdDuplex.com web site, developers managing their AdDuplex apps utilizing AdDuplex ad control at manage.adduplex.com, advertisers running adverting campaigns on the AdDuplex network and end-users of the apps and games containing AdDuplex ad control.

1. About AdDuplex

AdDuplex is an advertising network operated by UAB AdDuplex. UAB AdDuplex is registered and operating from Republic of Lithuania.

2. Collected personally identifiable information

The scope of collected information differs based on the role of the person interacting with AdDuplex websites or AdDuplex advertising control in 3rd party applications. See section on Cookies for information for first and 3rd party cookies.

2.1. Visitors to AdDuplex.com website

No personally identifiable information is collected from visitors to AdDuplex.com website.

2.2. Developers utilizing AdDuplex to display advertising in their apps and games

Developers utilizing AdDuplex to display advertising in their apps and games are required to use a self-service system at manage.adduplex.com. In order to use the self-service system, developers have to register by providing the following information:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Country of residence

2.3. Advertisers advertising on the AdDuplex network

Advertisers advertising on the AdDuplex network can use a self-service system at manage.adduplex.com. In order to use the self-service system, advertisers have to register by providing the following information:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Country of residence

Additionally, when purchasing advertising packages advertises may have to provide additional information including:

  • Billing address (including company name, street address, billing country)
  • Taxpayer information (taxpayer number, VAT number, etc.)
  • Phone number
  • Payment instrument data (credit card number and expiration date, PayPal address, etc.)

2.4. Developers and publishers participating in AdDuplex revenue sharing program (monetization)

Developers and publishers participating in AdDuplex revenue sharing program (app monetization) are required to use a self-service system at manage.adduplex.com. In order to use the self-service system, developers have to register by providing the following information:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Country of residence

Additionally, in order to receive program payouts developers are required to provide the following information:

Individuals:

  • Personal code / ID number
  • Official address (including street address, postal code, country)
  • Taxpayer ID
  • Passport / ID card number
  • Date of birth
  • Passport / ID card issuing country
  • Copy of passport / ID card

Legal entities:

  • Company name
  • Official company address (including street address, postal code, country)
  • Taxpayer ID
  • VAT number (if applicable)

Additionally, in order to receive payouts all participants have to provide required financial instrument information as one of the following:

  • PayPal address
  • Bank account information required for wire transfers (account number, bank name, address, SWIFT code, routing account number, etc.)

2.5. End-users utilizing apps and games participating in the AdDuplex network

Apps and games utilizing AdDuplex network in order to get advertising served to them contact AdDuplex servers over the internet and send the following information to the servers:

  • User’s IP address
  • Device manufacturer and model
  • Device operating system and firmware versions
  • Technical details about user’s device (screen size, resolution, network connection type, mobile operator)
  • App installation identifier

2.6. All website visitors

AdDuplex web servers collect technical information about all user in web server logs, including IP addresses, browser type, operating system, visited URLs, date and time stamp.

3. Cookies

AdDuplex’s website and self-serving system utilizes session cookies in order to maintain technical functionality of the systems.

4. Use and sharing of collected data

AdDuplex uses collected data to perform functions associated with providing core services of AdDuplex network as well as to improve user experience and inform customers about news and changes in the services provided.

Data obtained during registration for the self-service system is used to personalize user experience and occasionally contact customers via email with important information about changes to AdDuplex services.

Additionally, users have an option to sign up for AdDuplex Email Newsletter to receive regular updates and special offers. AdDuplex uses MailerLite as a mailing list service provider and shares email address and names of interested customers with MailerLite to facilitate the service. MailerLite'sprivacy policy.

Data collected from advertisers is used to facilitate financial transactions and accounting/taxation related responsibilities. The appropriate data is shared with payment providers and Lithuanian tax authority ( State Tax Inspectorate Under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania ). AdDuplex utilizes services of Braintree Payments and PayPal (both owned by PayPal, privacy policy) for transaction processing.

Data collected from developers and publishers participating in revenue sharing program (app monetization) is shared with Lithuanian tax authority ( State Tax Inspectorate Under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania ) and payment providers facilitating payouts. AdDuplex uses PayPal and Swedbank AB for payouts.

Data collected from apps utilizing AdDuplex ad control is used by AdDuplex in de-personalized aggregate fashion to provide statistics to app developers, advertisers, analysts and media. Raw data is used to provide real-time ad targeting, filtering and fraud prevention. Occasionally AdDuplex administrators analyze raw data to identify causes of outages, defects and other issues. Raw data is not shared with 3rd parties unless required by law.

AdDuplex will not disclose collected data to other 3rd parties unless required by law of Republic of Lithuania or European Union.

5. Data storage

AdDuplex uses Microsoft Azure to collect and store data electronically. Information on Microsoft Azure security, compliance and privacy.

Only employees whose job function requires access to the collected data have permissions to access it. Hard copies of documents (when required) are handled with special care, stored in a locked location and destroyed when no longer needed.

Data collected is stored for 10 (ten) years since customer’s last use of AdDuplex system, unless instructed otherwise by the customer or government institution under applicable law.

6. Data review, corrections, updates and removal

Customers can review information collected by AdDuplex by visiting Profile page in the AdDuplex’s self-service system. To get further details about collected and shared information or in case you have questions, please, contact AdDuplex Support at support@adduplex.com.

Updates and corrections to the general collected AdDuplex customer information can be performed through the self-service system Profile page. Changes to additional information for advertisers and revenue sharing partners can be performed by contacting support at support@adduplex.com

Users can request closure of their account and removal of related collected information by contacting support at support@adduplex.com. AdDuplex will remove all personally identifiable information pending verification of such requests, unless required otherwise by law. AdDuplex reserves the right to keep de-personalized aggregate information to preserve network-wide data integrity.

7. Sale of Business

In the event that AdDuplex (or its part) is acquired by a third party or merged with a third party entity, AdDuplex may transfer the collected information as part of such a change of control.

8. Jurisdiction

UAB AdDuplex is a company registered and operating from Republic of Lithuania and therefore operates in accordance to laws of Republic of Lithuania and European Union.

9. Modifications

This privacy policy may be revised periodically by AdDuplex. Material changes to this privacy policy shall be communicated via prominently visible portions of AdDuplex.com, AdDuplex blog and/or direct email communication to publishers and advertisers. The last modified date of this Privacy Policy is included at the bottom.
